What is Information Technology?

Information means the act of informing something. It might be an advice, idea, outline, concept, instruction or whatever. The word 'inform' was about instructing a subject. The word 'instruct' comes from a word like 'ඉගැන්වීම'. The words 'technology' and 'තාක්ෂණය' has similarities in sounds. ('තාක්' and 'tech', 'ණ' and 'no'). Both of them were originated from a same language, most probably හෙළ language. The most similar Sinhala word for Information Technology is 'තොරතුරු තාක්ෂණය'.
This is the Oxford definition of Information Technology.

There are 4 types of Information Technologies for 4 types of ages.

1. Spiritual Information Technology - Krita age
2. Mantric Information Technology - Thretha age
3. Tantric Information Technology - Dwapara age
4. Yantric (Technical) Information Technology - Kali age (Now)

Spiritual Information Technology

In Krita age, people are having so many spiritual powers, such as walking in the sky, disappearing, etc. Therefore people can store many information in their brains. They can save and retrieve information from the brain so faster than the people in this age. They can communicate mind to mind without talking. It is called Telepathy. The distance is not a problem. They can communicate beyond the speed of light. They can get every thought that people are thinking. Also they had a self-control of thinking.

Mantric Information Technology

In Thretha age, people loses all their spiritual powers. So they have to talk each other to share information. They have special Mantric powers. That means they have special Mantras (like special words) to do several things such as floating something by a mantra, walking on the water by a mantra, etc. Therefore people can use mantra for storing, retrieving, and sharing information. They can write something on a paper and disappear it, float it, or send it through the air. They can use a small bottle to record what they talk and send to someone. 

Tantric Information Technology

In Dwapara age, people loses their mantric powers. So they have to use tantric powers. That means they have to use not only mantras (special words/ statements) but also varies substances and actions to do a particular thing. Therefore people can do the same things as above mentioned using tantric powers.

Technical Information Technology

In Kali age, people loses their tantric powers too. So they have to use yantric powers such as mechanical, electrical, etc.

In the very beginning of this age, people uses mechanical powers. They prints books, newspapers, etc. by printing machines and transports them using vehicles. They store them in libraries so that anyone can read and get the information. Authors write books to store information. 

After inventing electrical power, people uses it for sending, retrieving, sharing information such as using telephones, radios, etc. They use tapes or discs to store information. After finding the logical behaviors regarding electronics, they invent computer. They use something like a electro-magnetic map created with so many metals (called microchips) to store information and to do calculations. They are able to control the electro-magnetism of microchips using inputs called programming languages. They use 2D screens to see information and speakers to hear information. They use keyboards, mice, microphones, touch pads, touch screens to input information. They use servers, small microchips, disks to store information. After that they creates a world wide network called internet. So any person in the world can share information with others. They creates small mobile devices also to share information while travelling. 

All their industries such as Education, Manufacturing, Agriculture, Medicine, Science, Sports, etc. uses information technology so that they can do things more efficiently and effectively. They uses it for entertainment also such as chatting, video games, films, songs, etc.

Then, they invent 3D technologies, brain technologies, and quantum technologies. So they can do the things that they have done in Dwapara, Thethra, and Krita ages. They are able to store information in atomic levels. They use every natural things such as soil, air, etc. to store information. They can access the information by the microchips connected to the brain. The world becomes more open. People can share thoughts, feelings, tastes, smells, etc. They finds how to communicate beyond light speed and 4D, 5D, 6D technologies so that they can share information planet to planet, star to star, among parallel worlds, galaxy to galaxy, etc. The people's needs increases more and more. So many new technologies are invented. They become updated every second.

After that, all these technologies are destroyed by a war or a natural incident. It's a new beginning. The people again starts from the Krita age.
